The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your home to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart robot vacuum navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on when it encounters one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the hidden bin and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robotic mop and vacuum known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a set route.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. The button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can alter how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
